We are based at Bohunt Horsham, which provides excellent facilities including:

Kiddo Club is led by Tanya Parker, an experienced childcare operations leader with a proven track record of running high-quality childcare provisions in the local area. With extensive expertise in managing large-scale holiday and out-of-school care programs, Tanya ensures that every aspect of Kiddo Club is meticulously planned—from staffing and safeguarding to activity programming and parent communication.
With a deep understanding of what families need from holiday childcare, Tanya has built a strong, highly qualified team to bring Kiddo Club to life. All staff are fully trained, DBS-checked, and experienced in working with children, ensuring a safe, engaging, and enriching environment every day.

Bookings & Payments

Bookings can be made directly on our website by clicking any of the "Book Now" buttons. Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and bookings open one month before each school holiday.

The introductory rate is £45 per day, and a 10% sibling discount applies when two or more children are booked for the same session on the same day.

We accept credit or debit card payments, Childcare Grant Payment Service, bank transfers, Tax-Free Childcare, and childcare vouchers. Payment must be made in full at the time of booking.

All bookings are non-refundable and non-changeable. However, in exceptional circumstances, a credit note may be issued at the Director’s discretion.
Daily Schedule & Activities

Every day at Kiddo Club is packed with a mix of structured activities and free play, designed to keep children engaged, active, and having fun. Our program includes:
STEM Challenges – Hands-on experiments, engineering tasks, and problem-solving activities.
Creative Arts – Painting, crafting, drama, and storytelling to inspire creativity.
Sports & Team Games – A variety of activities to build confidence, teamwork, and coordination.
Outdoor Adventures – Nature-based play, scavenger hunts, den-building, and exploration.
Imaginative Play & Construction – Role-playing, designing, and building projects to encourage problem-solving and creativity.

The club runs from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a structured schedule that balances activities, breaks, and free time:
9:00 - 9:30 AM – Arrival & Free Play
9:30 - 10:45 AM – Morning Activity 1
10:45 - 11:00 AM – Snack Break
11:00 - 12:15 PM – Morning Activity 2
12:15 - 1:00 PM – Lunch & Social Time
1:00 - 2:15 PM – Afternoon Activity 1
2:15 - 2:30 PM – Snack Break
2:30 - 3:45 PM – Afternoon Activity 2
3:45 - 5:00 PM – Wind-Down & Choice Time (children can revisit favorite activities, do quiet play, or enjoy some relaxed social time)

Yes! To ensure activities are age-appropriate and engaging, children are grouped as follows:
EYFS (Ages 4-5) – Play-based activities with additional support.
KS1 (Ages 5-7) – A mix of structured and exploratory activities.
KS2 (Ages 7-11) – More advanced challenges and opportunities to take the lead.

We encourage all children to join in, but we never force participation. There’s always a range of options to suit different interests, and a quiet space for downtime if needed.
Food & Nutrition

No, parents must provide a nut-free packed lunch and snacks. Fresh drinking water is available throughout the day.

If your child arrives without a packed lunch, we will contact you to arrange one. If necessary, staff will purchase a meal, and you will be charged accordingly.

Yes, Kiddo Club is a nut-free environment to protect children with allergies.
Safety & Staffing

At Kiddo Club, we have a highly trained, fully vetted team that is dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and fun environment for every child. All staff are DBS-checked, trained in safeguarding and first aid, and have extensive experience in childcare, playwork, or education. Many of our team members already work in schools and childcare settings, so they are familiar with providing age-appropriate care and activities.

We follow strict Ofsted-approved ratios to ensure children receive the attention, support, and supervision they need:
1:8 for EYFS (Ages 4-5)
1:10 for KS1 & KS2 (Ages 5 -11)
These ratios ensure that children are well-supervised, supported, and engaged throughout the day.

We have comprehensive safety policies and procedures in place to protect all children in our care, including:
✔ Strict drop-off & collection procedures – Children will only be released to authorized adults who provide the correct password.
✔ Regular headcounts – Conducted throughout the day, especially during transitions between activities.
✔ Secure venue – Our facility at Bohunt Horsham has controlled entry and exit points.
✔ Qualified first-aiders – A paediatric first-aid trained staff member is always on-site.
✔ Risk assessments – All activities, equipment, and outdoor areas are thoroughly risk-assessed to ensure safety.
✔ Emergency procedures – Staff are trained in fire safety, first aid, and emergency response, with regular drills conducted. -
If your child becomes unwell during the session, we will contact you immediately for collection. If they have a minor injury, first aid will be administered, and you will be informed upon pick-up. In the case of a serious medical emergency, we will:
1️⃣ Call 999 immediately if necessary.
2️⃣ Contact you or the listed emergency contact.
3️⃣ Ensure a staff member accompanies your child to medical care if needed.All accidents are recorded digitally on your child’s account, and you will be able to view the report there.

Yes. Safeguarding is our top priority. All staff are trained in child protection procedures, and we have a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all children. Any concerns about a child's welfare will be handled in line with local safeguarding procedures.

We are committed to providing an inclusive environment and will make reasonable adjustments to support children with additional needs. Please inform us during the booking process so we can discuss how best to accommodate your child’s requirements while maintaining safe staffing ratios.

Pick-up is from 4:00 - 5:00 PM. If you are running late, please call us as soon as possible. A late collection fee of £10 per 15 minutes will apply for pick-ups after 5:00 PM. Persistent lateness may result in your child’s place being reviewed.

We use positive behavior reinforcement and clear expectations to create a supportive, respectful environment. If a child is struggling, our staff will work with them to redirect their behavior positively. If a child’s behavior becomes disruptive or unsafe, we will:
1️⃣ Support them with gentle guidance to help them settle.
2️⃣ Communicate with parents if challenges persist.
3️⃣ If necessary, we may request early collection or, in extreme cases, review their place at the club.Our approach is always positive, fair, and designed to help children thrive while maintaining a safe space for everyone.
